  1. Thank you very much for the method provided by the blogger, I also ran into a similar problem, and the solution at that time was as follows:
    Issue:
    Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. Unable to open this folder collection.
    Solution(s):
    The Outlook app relies on Windows Network’s NCSI network monitoring to authenticate and connect. When the Windows client fails to monitor NCSI, Outlook will fail to connect.
    During NCSI detection, the following URLs are accessed by default (note: these are not O365 service URLs, but Windows uses URLs by default)
    Windows 8.1 and earlier versions: http://www.msftncsi.com/ncsi.txt
    Windows 10 and above: http://www.msftconnecttest.com/connecttest.txt
    This website can be configured on the intranet to simulate.

  2. This is gold! I had a few users with this exact problem! I tried to create new profiles in the past but had mixed results. I didn’t know that there are steps to cleanup in the registry too.
    Now I’ll try to fix it with this knowledge!
